The end of the summer term is here and Cannell Library is closing for a short break. Here are some items to keep in mind during the closure:
- There will be no Ask a Librarian or Instant Message service until school begins.
- You can still renew items that you checked out before the library closed. You can find more information about renewing your books by clicking on this link: “How to renew your books“
- Items that are due after the library closes, but are no longer eligible for renewal still need to be returned to the library! While the library is closed, please return items to the outside return boxes. One return box is near the parking lot on the walkway of northwest Hanna Hall and two are right outside the library entrance. Please note, one of the return boxes outside the main entrance is designated for audiovisual material and the other is for books.
- If you have requested a book from Summit, you will be able to collect your book from the library even though the library is closed. We will contact you when your book arrives by email or phone and you can then call the circulation desk to schedule a time to pick up your book.
To arrange to pick up a requested book, have a library block cleared or have other questions, call circulation staff at 360-992-2504 for information. You might have to leave a message because staff is limited.
