The Cannell Library has a new Smart Classroom!
Jun 29th, 2009 by Amanda
Over the quarter break the Cannell Room on the first floor of the library has been updated to a Smart Classroom. This upgrade provides many features for instructors.

One feature is a multimedia lectern fitted with a touch-screen control system enabling users to draw on an image on the screen and project it for larger view. The system will be connected to DVD/VHS players, a computer, and a document camera (a device that allows the projection of books, objects, or images without being converted to an overhead or slide format). Speakers in each classroom will allow audio input from computers, DVD or VHS presentations and microphones.
The Cannell Room is located on the first floor of the library next to our popular periodical collection. To book this room please contact the Event Scheduling Office at 360-992-2713 or email Cheryl McClain at cclain@clark.edu. For students and community members there is a fee to book the Cannell Room.
