Information Literacy Awareness Month
Oct 16th, 2012 by Kitty
NFIL isn’t about playing football, eating hotdogs or even speaking like a pirate. Sponsored by the National Forum on Information Literacy (NFIL), National Information Literacy Awareness month is about promoting an essential skill, “the ability to know when there is a need for information, to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information for the issue or problem at hand”(NFIL).
