| Collections Books are found using the Online Catalog. Circulating books are located on the second floor and shelved by the Library of Congress Classification System. Books are in alphanumerical order and arranged from left to right, "A" through "Z". Oversize shelves are located at the end after "Z".
Periodicals (Journals / Newspapers / Magazines) Print periodical are shelved in the lower section of the first floor, along the west windows. Journals and magazines are arranged alphabetically by title, then chronologically by date. Newspapers are shelved at the end of the Periodical stacks. Back issues of some titles are found on microfilm. Periodicals are listed in the Library Book Catalog and the Serials Catalog. Reference Collection The reference collection has atlases, dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks and bibliographies for many subject areas. Online and print indexes provide access to periodical articles. See a librarian on the first floor for help with research assignments or projects. | ||||||||
