Determining your Blackboard username & password for NEW Blackboard users

Username: first letter of first name, first four letters of the last name and last four digits of your Student ID number. For example, Joe Smith with SID of 940-23-4567 would have a username of jsmit4567

Password: last 5 numbers of your Student ID number . For example, Joe Smith with SID of 940-23-4567 would have a password of 34567

Returning Bb Students : If you already have a Blackboard password from a previous term you should use that password. If that does not work try the last 5 numbers of your SID.

Problems logging into Blackboard: If you cannot log in to Blackboard it's possible that one of the following may be happening:

• You just registered for the class: if you just registered for your class there is a wait before you can access your class. Blackboard updates daily at 9:30AM and 4:00PM. Check back after these times.
• Your password doesn't work: We may need to reset your password for you. Contact us immediately for a password reset.

How do I access my online class?

• Determine your Blackboard Username and Password. See directions above.
• Access the Blackboard login page by clicking on the "Class Login" link located on the right side of this page.
• Once there enter your username and password. You will then have access to your

  class.
